Guarding Your Peace

Philippians 4:6-7 / Matthew 11:28-30 4 min

The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:6-7 / Matthew 11:28-30

Entrepreneurial burnout is real, it is common, and it is not a badge of honor. The always-on, hustle-at-all-costs culture is not the Kingdom model.

Philippians 4:6 doesn't say don't have problems. It says don't be anxious. The antidote is prayer: specific, thankful, honest prayer. And the result is a peace that doesn't make logical sense given the circumstances.

Matthew 11:28 is an invitation, not a lecture. If you're exhausted, you don't need more discipline. You need rest — genuine soul rest that comes from releasing control to the One who actually holds it.

The entrepreneur who protects their peace makes better decisions. Peace is not a luxury — it is a leadership tool.
