Failure Is Not Final

Micah 7:8 / Proverbs 24:16 4 min

Though I have fallen, I will rise. For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again.

Micah 7:8 / Proverbs 24:16

Joseph was sold into slavery by his own brothers, falsely accused, and imprisoned for years. Moses spent 40 years in obscurity. Peter denied Jesus three times in public — the night before Jesus gave him the keys to the church.

The biblical pattern is not: God blesses people who never fail. The pattern is: God redeems people who don't stay down.

Proverbs 24:16 doesn't say the righteous never fall — it says they rise. Failure is data. It tells you something about your strategy, your timing, your market, your assumptions.

The enemy of comeback is shame. Shame says the failure defines you. Scripture says it doesn't. You are not your worst business decision.

This week

Name one past business failure you haven't fully processed. Write down what it taught you. Then write: This is not the end of my story.
